Bournemouth Turkey & Tinsel 2011

Father Christmas relaxing on Bournemouth beach before the start of the Turkey & Tinsel season

It’s that time again! We are pleased to announce that our 2011 Turkey and Tinsel holidays start on Monday 31 October.

We offer Monday to Friday mid-week breaks as well as Friday to Monday weekend breaks. For those not already in the know – these are pretend Christmas holidays (no we’re not joking!). They include all the fun and excitement of the festive season – at a really great price…and you still have the ‘real’ Christmas to look forward to!

We are pretty booked up for most of these holidays but we do still have availability for the following Turkey & Tinsel weekends:

Friday 11 November to Monday 14 November 2011 (at The Arlington Hotel) at a special price of £126 per person

or

Friday 2 December to Monday 5 December 2011 (at The Whitehall Hotel) at £130 per person.

Here’s why it’s so popular:

  • The price is amazing for dinner, bed and breakfast for 3 nights
  • There’s so much included in the price: tea and mince pie on arrival, a visit from Father Christmas with a present for everyone, traditional Christmas Dinner on Saturday evening, entertainment every night and a New Years dinner with glass of bubbly and Auld Lang Syne on Sunday evening.
  • It’s great way of having a festive family get-together without the hassle or the washing up.

Call us to book or enquire about other dates.

Arlington Arts Cafe opens in Bournemouth

We are proud to announce the opening of the Arlington Arts Cafe. Overlooking the bandstand in the Lower Gardens, Arlington Arts Cafe offers morning coffee, sandwiches and paninis, Dorset cream tea and home-made cakes – all day long. Visitors to Bournemouth and local residents can take part in arts workshops throughout the summer. “We want to support the arts in Bournemouth so we have invited local artists to use our cafe as a place to paint, exhibit their work and run art activity sessions. It’s a relaxing combination – art in the garden, music in the bandstand and tea on the terrace” said Sara Uzzell.
