We offer you the luxury of the best location in Bournemouth – hassle free self catering – with all linen, gas and electricity all included and the hotel facilities available when you want them.
The holiday flat sleeps up to 5 people and comprises 2 bedrooms, bathroom, luxury lounge dining room with flat screen TV and well equipped kitchen with dishwasher. There is a beautiful terrace garden and also car parking.

Holiday Flat Description
Lounge dining room: with access to the terrace. Comfortable seating, sideboard and dining table chairs, flat screen TV and DVD player. This is a spacious room and an extra single bed can be added behind the sofa if arranged in advance.
Kitchen: with an electric oven and grill, gas hob, microwave, fridge freezer and dishwasher. Excellent storage containing crockery, cutlery, glasses, cooking utensils, microwave dishes, saucepans and oven trays. Kettle, toaster, vacuum cleaner, iron and ironing board also included. Tea, coffee, milk and sugar will be in the kitchen for a welcome hot drink on your arrival.
Bathroom: with toilet, hand-basin and bath with shower attachment. Access to the bathroom is via the main bedroom. Towels and bath mat included – please bring your own beach towels.
Bedroom 1: double bed with king size duvet (linen included), excellent storage (hair dryer included) and a wall mounted flat screen television with integral DVD player.
Bedroom 2: a single bed (with duvet and linen included) with an additional single bed stored underneath (please request in advance if it is required). This room works well as a single room, a twin bedded room or with a single bed and a travel cot.
Extra single bed, travel cot, high chair and booster seat are available only if pre-booked. The holiday flat has a telephone line for incoming and outgoing calls. Charges are the same as for the hotel guests – details on request.
Car parking is in the hotel car park. If the car park is really full then double parking may be necessary on the basis that car keys are left with the hotel reception in case of an emergency.

Things to do
With 7 miles of sandy beaches just 2 minutes stroll from your front door – you will want to hire a deckchair, get an ice-cream, put your toes in the sand and just relax!
Bournemouth offers top shows and concerts, gardens and seafront walks, restaurants and superb shopping.
For days out explore the Jurassic coastline, the New Forest and the old towns of Christchurch and Wimborne. The local buses are great and there are boat trips from Bournemouth pier to Poole Harbour, Brownsea island and the Isle of Wight.
For children there’s the hot air balloon, the Oceanarium and free kids entertainment in the gardens with fireworks and lantern displays during school holidays – all this just outside your door. There’s a host of attractions to visit by car – Monkey World, Farmer Palmers, Adventureworld and Bovington Tank Museum.
Hotel Services
You can use the hotel bar and restaurant during your stay. Please pre-book a table if you would like breakfast or dinner. Children always welcome.
Other hotel services are available to you including newspapers, laundry service, taxi booking, messages, tourist information and we offer packed lunches, morning coffee and afternoon tea in the hotel.
There are a few town centre food shops (Marks & Spencer, Tesco Metro) but you will need transport to get to our local Tesco, Sainsbury or Asda supermarkets. There is a corner shop at the end of our road for newspapers and the basics. There is a great choice of take-aways, restaurants, cafes and bars within 5 minutes walk.
Prices
The holiday flat is available to hire for 7 nights from Saturday to Saturday from May to September.
From October to April shorter breaks are available for Friday to Monday (3 nights) or Monday to Friday (4 nights).
Prices include hire of the furnished, fully equipped holiday flat in the best location in Bournemouth with:
- Electricity and Gas
- All bed linen
- Bathroom towels and bath mats
- Tea and coffee on arrival.

Payment
To confirm the booking we request a non-refundable deposit of 20%. The final balance is due two weeks prior to your arrival. Payment can be made by credit or debit card or by cheque to ‘The Arlington Hotel’. Please do not send cash.
On departure please hand the keys in to reception, confirm that you have checked the inventory and settle your account if you have charged any of the hotel services e.g. newspapers or telephone calls.
Inventory
We request that you check the inventory on arrival and departure. Please inform reception if anything is missing or if there is any accidental damage during your stay. We know that accidents happen and generally this is not a problem. However we reserve the right to charge for replacement or professional cleaning or repairs for any serious or wilful damage or theft.
Supplements
We charge a supplement of £10.00 for providing a travel cot with bedding or an extra single bed with bed linen and duvet for the lounge dining room.
A daily chambermaid service and additional linen/towel changes can be arranged at a supplement.
Insurance and Cancellation Charges
We strongly recommend that you take out holiday insurance to protect you in the event of unforeseen cancellation. We can send you details of insurance which may be appropriate.
You may cancel your booking at any time however a cancellation charge will apply as follows:
