Conurbation 2050 & Bournemouth Creatives Barbeque
Bournemouth’s artists, entrepreneurs, business owners, academics, politicians and professionals are meeting at the annual Arlington Arts Café barbecue hosted by Bournemouth Creatives and Conurbation 2050. Tobias Ellwood MP will be welcoming guests for this relaxed, informal evening. Children are welcome.
The barbecue is on Thursday 16 August 2012 from 6pm to 9pm, in the Arlington Arts Cafe situated in the garden of the Arlington Hotel overlooking Bournemouth’s Lower Gardens (opposite the band stand).
The price of the ticket includes a barbecue of local, hand-made sausages and burgers (vegetarian options available), with a glass of wine, beer of a soft drink followed by Italian ice cream.
Spend a balmy evening chatting with live music playing in the background followed by a steel band performance from the Bournemouth bandstand at 7pm. See our gallery for more photos of last year’s event
The event will celebrate the 2012 summer season for the Arlington Arts Café, a new feature in Bournemouth’s creative landscape, offering homemade cakes and refreshments to the town’s artistic community, as well as hosting exhibitions, workshops and activities.

The Arlington Arts Cafe is doing a special offer with Groupon (see www.Groupon.co.uk). The deal is an afternoon tea platter with sandwiches, scones with jam and clotted cream, chocolate brownies, Dorset apple cake (all hand-made here by us) with tea and coffee (or a soft drink).
